Ingredients
- 1 lb butter, room temperature
- 4 cups sugar
- 8 eggs, room temperature
- 4 tsp vanilla
- 3½ to 4 cups flour
- 1 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lb chocolate chips, melted and cooled
- Optional: chocolate frosting, for topping

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a sheet pan.

In a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

With the mixer on low, slowly add the eggs and mix to combine. Add the vanilla and mix.

Add the flour, cocoa, and salt and mix until just combined.

Pour in the melted, cooled chocolate and mix until combined.

Spread the batter evenly into the prepared sheet pan.

Bake for about 30 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer reads 200°F in the center.

Cool completely before cutting. Top with chocolate frosting if you'd like, and finish with edible flowers for a pretty touch.
